What is Mindful Self-Compassion?

Mindful Self-Compassion is an evidence-based approach grounded in the pioneering research of Dr. Kristin Neff PhD, and clinical psychologist Dr. Christopher Germer PhD, that combines mindfulness with practical self-kindness skills to help you respond to life’s challenges with greater resilience, emotional balance, and self awareness.

Life can be challenging, and many of us are far harder on ourselves than we would ever be with someone we care about. Through guided practices, reflection, and group learning, you’ll begin to notice patterns of self-criticism, learn how to work with difficult emotions, and develop a more supportive inner relationship.

This approach offers practical tools that can be integrated into everyday life to support emotional well-being, resilience, and lasting change.

A Note About This Work

Mindful Self-Compassion is a supportive and deeply personal process. As you develop greater awareness, different emotions may naturally arise along the way. You are encouraged to move at your own pace and take care of your wellbeing throughout the program.

While MSC can be therapeutic in nature, it is not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, or crisis support when those are needed.
